Directions to the Branch Apiarys
Langford Apiary:
The Apiary is at Langford. On the A38, drive towards Lower Langford. Drive into the village from either end. Opposite the village shop (former Post Office), turn into Blackmoor Lane, going towards Wrington.
After a few hundred yards the lane veers to the right. At this point drive into and park in the entrance to a lane directly ahead which is closed by a farm gate and a style.
Go through the gate or style on foot. Continue to another style a hundred yards or so down the lane. Climb over this and make for a farm gate about fifty yards ahead across the field.
Pass through the gate and skirt the fence to your right until you reach the apiary, which is through another gate to the right and next to the Langford Brook.
Walled Garden Apiary at Wrington:
The apiary is in the grounds of the Walled Garden in Long Lane, east of Wrington
Coming from Bristol on the A38 and two miles past the airport in Redhill, turn right at the Darlington Arms into Long Lane. The Walled Garden Restaurant is two miles down the lane on the left. The OS grid reference for the car park is ST 4793 6282
Alternatively drive to Wrington from Congresbury or Lower Langford and then drive out of Wrington on Long Lane, towards Redhill on the A38. In this case the property will be on the right, below Barley Wood.
Drive into the gateway of the Walled Garden, and down the drive to the car park at the bottom. The apiary is accessed through a gate in a hedge at the eastern end of the car park below some buildings. There is a notice on the gate saying that the orchard below is not open to the public.
